The distinctive taste of SangSom and its world-class production quality were recognised and awarded with Gold Awards for taste in Madrid (1982), Dusseldorf (1983) and Madrid again in 2006. With these gold medals proudly displayed on each SangSom label, the brand is now widely known among consumers as "SangSom Rianthong", meaning SangSom Gold Medals.
The world-famous "SangSom Bucket" The complex taste and aroma of SangSom results in a unique combination with mixers and fresh juices, making it the classic base for any cocktail or blended beverage. The "SangSom Bucket" was a fun way of serving SangSom which is believed to be first invented at a Full Moon Party in Ko Pha Ngan, Surat Thani province, when SangSom was combined with a mixer in a small bucket with ice, complete with a straw for each drinker - a lovely, friendly and fun way to share the taste of SangSom!
